About The Position

The PM Catering Deliver Driver at Samaritan House Denver is responsible for ensuring that the catering processes for each facility are followed and reinforced. This includes loading catered food onto the truck, delivering it to designated areas safely and timely, and adhering to all food service safety guidelines. The driver will unload food at designated sites, ensuring all products are stored properly, maintain required logs and paperwork accurately, and help direct volunteers during meal services. The position reports to the Catering Supervisor for additional daily tasks and supports Catholic Charities’ vision, mission, values, and Code of Ethics, reflecting a commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and interact positively with others.
  • Ability to complete basic data entry into computer systems.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff through application of Agency values.
  • Knowledge of the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and a diverse client base.
  • Attended some college working towards an Associate or Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Unload food at designated sites and ensure proper storage of products.
  • Maintain required logs and paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Help direct volunteers during meal services.
  • Report to Catering Supervisor for additional daily tasks.
  • Support and promote Catholic Charities’ vision, mission, values, and Code of Ethics.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and agency information.
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance.

  • Salary: $22.00 per hour.
