Requirements

• High school Diploma / GED required
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with people
• Facilitate change and growth in a total quality management environment
• Computer skills required

Nice To Haves

• Technical/formal training preferred
• Two to four years previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of wood products manufacturing process

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of production employees
• Supervise production employees
• Ensure safety and product quality
• Train and develop hourly employees
• Manage department workflow and manpower utilization
• Communicate and administer company policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Best In Class (BIC) and continuous improvement
• Maintain environmental awareness
• Facilitate payroll management
• Manage employees within the guidelines of the employee handbook
