About The Position

The Plumbing Service Manager at R.S. Andrews of Tidewater Heating, Cooling is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and supervision of plumbing technicians to ensure effective residential plumbing service, repair, and installation. This role includes managing logistics, providing technical support, and ensuring quality assurance within the service center operations. The manager will lead a team of 10-15 technicians and is expected to drive productivity and customer satisfaction while meeting revenue objectives.

Requirements

• Direct experience in Residential Plumbing Management and leading operations.
• Minimum 5 years of technical plumbing experience.
• Excellent training, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand economic, financial, and market conditions affecting the business.
• Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue objectives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and plumbing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates service employees, including hiring and disciplining staff, scheduling, and setting work priorities.
• Conducts staff meetings, counseling, and training for employees to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Reviews payroll records to ensure proper technician compensation.
• Provides technical support to field technicians via telephone and on-site.
• Audits plumbing technician paperwork daily to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Oversees dispatch functions to match technicians with customer needs based on skills.
• Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Assists the general manager with data collection and report preparation.
• Conducts site surveys.
