Plumbing Sales Technician (Residential Service) Job Summary If you’re a licensed Plumbing Technician who enjoys educating homeowners, presenting solutions, and earning based on performance, this role is for you. We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused Plumbing Sales Technician to join our growing, supportive team. This is a service-to-sales role where your technical expertise directly drives income and career growth. What You’ll Do Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems including re-pipes, water heaters, tankless systems, drain clogs, and water softeners Perform full-home plumbing inspections and identify repair, replacement, and upgrade opportunities Present clear, professional options to homeowners and guide them toward the best solutions for their needs Actively upsell recommended repairs, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance Build trust through strong communication, transparency, and 5-star customer service Use ServiceTitan to manage service calls, create estimates, take photos, and document job notes Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service truck Collaborate with dispatch and leadership to maximize efficiency, conversion, and customer satisfaction What We’re Looking For 2+ years of residential plumbing experience Strong in-home sales skills with the ability to confidently present and close recommended work Proven ability to upsell repairs, replacements, and system upgrades Comfortable working in a performance-based, sales-driven environment Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability with attention to detail Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Comfortable using tablets and service software (ServiceTitan experience is a plus) Professional, motivated, and results-oriented mindset Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Why You’ll Love It Here Sales-focused role with strong earning potential Supportive leadership and structured processes Consistent call volume and organized scheduling Company that values professionalism, performance, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 2+ years of residential plumbing experience
- Strong in-home sales skills with the ability to confidently present and close recommended work
