About The Position

The Plumber/Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks across assigned equipment and facilities. This includes work related to plumbing, electrical systems, basic carpentry, HVAC, and other building infrastructure.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical knowledge of plumbing systems and building maintenance.
  • Strong physical stamina and strength.
  • Excellent problem-solving and manual dexterity.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior technicians.
  • Knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, power tools, and maintenance software
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Valid drivers License
  • Related experience preferred.
  • On-the-job training offered.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.
  • Perform repairs and installations of plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Identify and inspect equipment or machinery requiring repair.
  • Diagnose issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
  • Carry out general repairs not requiring specialized technicians (e.g., drywall, painting, door, and fixture repairs).
  • Perform routine maintenance on building systems.
  • Assist with cleaning and general upkeep of facilities.
  • Execute other related duties as assigned.
