About The Position

As a Licensed Service Plumber, you will diagnose and repair complex plumbing issues, install and connect systems and appliances, and ensure all work meets local codes and regulations. You will communicate with homeowners to provide solutions and options, interpret blueprints for accurate installations, and perform maintenance to prevent future problems. Adaptability and problem-solving skills are essential for handling diverse situations and evolving requirements.

Requirements

Active P-1 [State] Plumbing License (NC preferred).
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, compliance, and safety standards.
Experience reviewing installations or supervising plumbing teams preferred.
Ability to document findings and communicate clearly with management and technicians.
Professional, ethical decision-making regarding code compliance.

Nice To Haves

Previous role as plumbing supervisor, inspector, or qualifying license holder.
Experience working with residential or light commercial service companies.
Familiarity with permit processes and inspections in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

Act as the company’s designated licensed plumbing qualifier.
Review completed plumbing work for code compliance and quality standards.
