About The Position

Mark III Construction is seeking a Carded Journeyman Plumber to work in our Manufacturing Facility here in Sacramento. Plumbers will perform tasks associated with the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Requirements

Five (5) years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience or a combination of field experience and education in the trade.
Must be able to read and understand construction documents and schedules
Understands the entire scope of the job
Able to manage portions of projects and be the “right hand” to the Foreman
Capable of forecasting tasks and materials
Must be knowledgeable of relevant codes and regulations
Capable of doing basic take offs
Able to prepare equipment and tool lists
Experience working on large complex projects
Ability to take initiative and be self sufficient
Safety focused at all times
Possess leadership and mentorship skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Able to collaborate with other trades and have the “Power of One” mindset

Required to lift objects weighing up to 25lbs
Required walking for long and short distances, walking from one worksite to another.
Required to perform repetitive motion tasks

Required to use and climb ladders to work from heights

Constantly Required to hear sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to hear detailed information and distinguish sounds to avoid hazards.
Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
