About The Position

As a Plumbing Installer at F.H. Furr, you will be responsible for installing and remodeling plumbing systems in our customers' kitchens and bathrooms. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that installations are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of plumbing install experience.
• Detail-oriented and skilled at multitasking.
• Confident and decisive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating heavy machinery such as backhoes.

Responsibilities

• Perform outdoor plumbing tasks, including sewer and water service repairs and replacements.
• Execute demolition and construction tasks such as breaking concrete floors, replacing drain lines beneath the slab, and restoring the concrete to original condition.
• Complete intricate finishing tasks, including caulking tiles, and installing fixtures, faucets, and vanities.
• Collaborate effectively with helpers on diverse plumbing projects, ranging from simple toilet replacements to comprehensive re-piping of entire homes.
• Foster a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude, contributing to overall team morale and project success.
• Provide exceptional customer service, making concerted efforts to protect clients' homes from damage during projects.
• Demonstrate meticulous pride in workmanship, ensuring all tasks are completed with precision and excellence.
• Skillfully thread and solder pipes, and adeptly transition between dissimilar piping materials.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current plumbing codes and standards.
• Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes (beneficial, though not required).
