About The Position

Earls Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is seeking a dedicated Plumbing HVAC professional to join our team. As a Plumbing HVAC technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and fixing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems for both residential and commercial customers. This role requires a combination of technical skills, customer service abilities, and a keen attention to detail to ensure our clients receive the best service and support available.

Requirements

Technical training or apprenticeship in HVAC-R or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role is desired.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is needed.
Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for mechanical repair.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
Physically able to lift heavy equipment and spend long periods standing or climbing.

Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems according to design specifications, ensuring the work is completed to the highest standards.
Inspect existing HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety, performing routine preventative maintenance to maximize their lifespan.
Diagnose issues and repair HVAC systems as needed, responding to urgent situations promptly.
Provide professional, friendly service to our customers, explaining complex HVAC issues in easily understandable language and offering workable solutions.
Maintain compliance with all safety regulations during all tasks.
Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay current with industry developments and new products.
Complete job-related paperwork accurately and timely.
