About The Position

BR+A is seeking a Plumbing Engineer in our Coral Gables or Tampa, FL office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience and the following skills: Familiarity with specification writing; Performing field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects; Coordinating with other disciplines; Developing calculations for Plumbing system sizing; Thorough knowledge of local Plumbing Codes; Understanding work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the plan; Ability to meet with clients and work with contractors; Oversee deliverables to and from clients; Take ownership of assignments and work both independently and as part of the project team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit
• Strongly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive and collaborative team member

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in designing Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education and Laboratory projects is a plus
• PE License strongly preferred
