About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our team at Elite Rooter, a fast-paced and growing plumbing service company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently scheduling drivers for various jobs, ensuring that the most efficient routes are selected for each driver. This role requires a proactive approach to managing equipment availability, assigning drivers and trucks, and evaluating customer calls to assign the best technician to each service appointment. As a Dispatcher, you will maintain constant communication with drivers via radio and/or phone, dispatching response and emergency aid when necessary. You will relay accurate information to technicians to ensure proficient and quality customer experiences. Additionally, you will manage the whereabouts and needs of every technician in the field, maintaining and reviewing billing and operation records while monitoring daily logs. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing maintenance and repair schedules for vehicles, performing other related duties as assigned, and establishing professional rapport with customers to encourage repeat business. You will respond to customer requests, resolve issues, and promote the company’s services. Participation in training to boost sales and ensure quick, accurate dispatch of incoming orders is also expected. You will be responsible for updating customers throughout the day on the technician's progress and following up on leads and unsold work from our technicians.
