About The Position

Our offices in Phoenix, Irvine and Corona, CA is looking for a Plumbing Designer to join our growing team. Our Plumbing Designers focus primarily on the design of building related projects, including apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, hospital and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software. Due to an expanding workload in all sectors, we are looking for highly motivated plumbing designers with experience and skills in these building types. You will also be comfortable working and designing within a Revit environment.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office
• Familiarity with codes, standards and design guidelines
• Excellent work ethic and attitude
• Good communication and time management skills
• Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
• LEED certification/experience is a plus.
• PE/EIT preferred

Responsibilities

• Designing plumbing systems for various buildings in diverse market sectors
• Development of system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
• Preparation of detailed design documents
• Specification writing/editing
• Code compliance research
• Coordinating work with other disciplines
• Site survey to determine and document existing conditions
• Providing construction administration services
