Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of design experience
  • PE/EIT preferred but not required
  • Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
  • Ability to lead a team and work as a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude
  • Leadership Ability and Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Design plumbing systems for various commercial buildings
  • Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
  • Prepare detailed design documents
  • Specification writing/editing
  • Conduct code compliance research
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines
  • Perform site surveys to determine and document existing conditions
  • Provide construction administration services
