About The Position

JCM Associates, Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plumbing Coordinator/ Drafter/designer. This is a full-time, in office (Maryland or Pennsylvania), position focused on drafting and/or plumbing design for commercial construction projects in the Maryland, Virginia, and DC areas. Requirements

  • Experience drafting and/or coordinating commercial systems in Revit and Navis, preferred not required
  • Associates degree in drafting or mechanical design, or minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Field experience in plumbing installation or Entry Level with College Degree also acceptable
  • Capable of producing detailed plumbing drawings, creating and modeling Revit experience is preferred but not required, Autodesk product knowledge acceptable
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and general knowledge of MEP systems
  • Strong computer skills and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineering of construction drawings for piping and plumbing systems
  • Produce coordination and/or design drawings while utilizing problem solving skills
  • Collaborate with others to produce deliverable documents in a timely manner
  • Learn and utilize Navisworks, along with Revit to produce 3D models
