What You’ll Do As a 3rd or 4th Year Commercial Plumbing Apprentice , you’ll play an active role in building and installing complete plumbing systems for commercial projects.

Requirements

  • Active 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice enrolled in a recognized apprenticeship program
  • Interest and/or experience in commercial new construction plumbing
  • Basic understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and installation methods
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently, and take initiative
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform tasks in a variety of environments
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to learn
  • Active NH or MA Apprentice Plumbing License (3rd or 4th Year preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in construction plumbing , preferably in commercial new builds
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in all weather conditions and varying temperatures

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with installation of piping systems, fixtures, and equipment in new commercial buildings
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Supporting layout, assembly, and installation of sanitary, storm, domestic water, and gas piping systems
  • Assisting in testing and inspecting plumbing systems for quality and accuracy
  • Learning to safely operate hand and power tools, threading machines, and pipe benders
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely
  • Maintaining a clean and organized job site while following all safety protocols
