The Plumbing Apprentice works on a team under supervision to execute new construction projects, primarily for commercial spaces, while demonstrating the company's core values. Requirements

  • 1 Year of experience.
  • Possession of valid driver’s license with a good record of driving.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable about OSHA guidelines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to distinguish between various plumbing equipment and components.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or within a team.
  • Ability to work on weekends, at night, or to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality installation of plumbing systems.
  • Observe and implement safe work practices and OSHA Guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, foreman, and project manager.
  • Adhere to all Federal, State, and local codes and regulations.
  • Install plumbing equipment following applicable codes, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.
  • Provide necessary support to other team members to complete tasks on time.
  • Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with co-workers.
  • Ensure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled.
  • Manage activities of the project at job sites.
  • Maintain maintenance records as required by company, city, state, and EPA regulations.
  • Assess a problem and provide a solution or communicate with the project foreman.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools and test equipment utilized in the trade.
  • Display a professional company image.
