About The Position
As a Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer/Designer at Pristine Engineers Inc, you will be responsible for performing plumbing and fire protection design tasks as assigned. This role requires a strong understanding of fire modeling, fire alarm systems, and automatic sprinkler system design. You will also need to have a general knowledge of relevant codes, code analysis, and specifications for mechanical, fire protection, and plumbing systems. A key part of your responsibilities will include reviewing drawings to ensure they conform to the fire and life safety strategy, as well as assisting in the development of fire suppression systems design. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in the field and must be proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT, particularly in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and FP (Fire Protection) engineering design projects. You will be expected to execute mechanical packages, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, both as standalone projects and as part of larger multidisciplinary teams. Your experience should include drafting and design work, which encompasses engineering load calculations, layout design, heating piping, ductwork design, plumbing, and the general coordination of these mechanical discipline components for multidisciplinary projects. This position is full-time and located in Taunton, MA, offering a competitive salary and a flexible work schedule.
