About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and Florida licensed Certified Plumbing Contractor to oversee residential shower and bath installation projects. Plumbing Oversight & Technical Leadership Oversee installation, repair, and modification of residential water supply, drainage, and gas systems related to bath and shower remodeling projects. Ensure all plumbing work complies with: Florida Building Code Local municipal codes DBPR requirements Safety regulations Provide technical guidance to installation teams and subcontractors. Review plumbing layouts and installation plans for code compliance. Conduct field inspections to ensure workmanship standards are met. Permitting & Compliance Management Serve as the company’s Certified Plumbing Contractor (CFC) for Florida. Pull and manage plumbing permits where required. Coordinate inspections with local municipalities. Maintain active license in good standing with DBPR. Ensure all work passes inspections and documentation is properly filed. Monitor regulatory changes affecting plumbing or remodeling work. System Installation & Repair Standards Supervise installation and repair of: Water supply lines (PVC, copper, PEX) Drainage and vent systems Shower and tub plumbing assemblies Valves, fixtures, and fittings Ensure systems are tested for: Leaks Proper drainage Pressure compliance Safety functionality Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues using industry-standard tools. Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with Senior Production/Installation leadership, Field Managers and Install crews Ensure plumbing scope aligns with project timelines. Support warehouse and procurement teams with material specifications. Assist in inventory oversight for plumbing components. Safety & Quality Assurance Promote safe work practices across all job sites. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standards. Maintain documentation of inspections and corrective actions. Reduce rework and service callbacks through quality oversight.

Requirements

  • Active Certified Plumbing Contractor (CFC) license in Florida
  • License in good standing with Florida DBPR
  • Minimum 5+ years of licensed plumbing experience
  • Experience pulling permits and managing municipal inspections
  • Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug test (if required)
  • Advanced knowledge of plumbing systems and materials (PVC, copper, PEX)
  • Strong code interpretation skills
  • Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation
  • Leadership and field coaching ability
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to balance compliance with operational efficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in bathroom remodeling or residential renovation
  • Experience supervising crews or subcontractors
  • Multi-county permitting familiarity
  • Experience acting as qualifier for a licensed contractor
