Northgate Hospital, Morpeth is looking for a Plumber to join our Estates Team. We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to be part of our multi-disciplinary team based. The Incentive is not applicable to internal staff Advert Playing a full and active part as a member of a multi-disciplinary estates team which will require a high level of cross trade flexibility. Carrying out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and new installation work on a wide variety of systems including energy and boiler plant, ventilation systems, drainage and sewerage, and laundry and catering equipment. Undertaking condition surveys of mechanical systems and infrastructure within healthcare facilities. Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repair works, reporting all observed fault conditions. Identifying and controlling stock levels of all electrical materials and goods, including key spares for electrical systems across all company sites. Interpreting and working from technical instructions, drawings and specifications with minimal supervision. Communicating well with others, for example, explaining technical facts to non-specialist users with tact and empathy.
