About The Position

FOKIS Mechanical is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber
to join our team within the mechanical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, plumbing fixtures, and associated mechanical equipment in commercial, or industrial projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Plumber. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and be capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and mechanical drawings.
• Skilled in the use of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various conditions (e.g, confined spaces, heights).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including piping, fittings, valves, fixtures, and pumps.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other trades to ensure coordinated installation.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks, perform diagnostics, and carry out corrective measures.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and project standards.
• Cut, weld, and assemble pipes using proper tools and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to job site safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Provide input on plumbing system design and improvements when required.
