BASIC FUNCTION: The Plumber will perform skilled plumbing work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of school plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment. VACANCY / POSITION SPECIFICS: Working Location: 4860 Ruffner Street, San Diego, CA 92111 and Various Sites The District covers a large portion of San Diego County. The area(s) you identify in your application will be used for any future vacancies filled using the eligiblity list from this recruitment. Work Schedule: 12 months per year / 40 hours per week. Vacancies that require the incumbent to be Bilingual in English/Spanish will be noted. This is a PROMOTIONAL/OPEN opportunity, which means that current monthly salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list. Requirements

• Any combination of education, training, or experience equivalent to completion of a recognized plumber apprentice training program.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
• Possession of hand tools common to the trade.
• Possession of a Back Flow certification. You must attach your certification to your application.
