What this job involves: The Plumber Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role ensures compliance with safety standards and building codes while delivering high-quality service to clients across various project types. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid plumbing license (as required by local regulations)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of plumbing experience
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and water pressure problems
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for project planning
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other functionality issues
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on large-scale projects
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Respond to emergency plumbing calls as needed
