About The Position

Install and maintain all plumbing related utilities; such as: water, sewer, storm drain, fire main, steam, condensate, gas lines, air lines. Install and maintain related equipment such as: pumps, valves, boilers, hot water tanks, heaters, food service equipment, expansion joints and fixtures.

Requirements

• Experience with installation, maintenance and repair of water and steam systems.
• Working skill in the use of diverse power and hand tools pertaining to the plumbing trade.
• Ability to respond to campus emergencies within 30 minutes.
• Valid Driver’s license in required.

Nice To Haves

• Considerable knowledge of steam systems and sprinkler systems.
• Work experience with commercial/industrial plumbing/steam distribution systems.
• Considerable experience working independently.
• A journeyman or master level plumbing license with VA DPOR .
• Experience reading and interpreting written instructions, blueprints, or schematic drawings.
