About The Position

As a Plumber with JLL, you'll play a critical role in maintaining essential infrastructure across two high-profile client accounts in Pennington, NJ. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a dynamic 12-hour shift environment with a 3/4 week rotating schedule, ensuring 365-day facility coverage including weekends and holidays. You'll be responsible for the complete lifecycle of plumbing systems – from installation and assembly to repair and maintenance – covering everything from basic fixtures to complex heating, water, and drainage systems. Your expertise will directly contribute to JLL's reputation for operational excellence while ensuring our clients' facilities operate seamlessly year-round.

Requirements

  • Valid New Jersey plumbing license and current knowledge of NJ plumbing codes and regulations
  • Minimum 3-5 years of commercial plumbing experience with demonstrated expertise in installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Backflow prevention certification and sprinkler system inspection experience
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems for work order management and reporting
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 3/4 week schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and make critical decisions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for client-facing interactions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in commercial facility management or corporate environments
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems integration with plumbing infrastructure
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and scheduling systems
  • Previous experience with vendor coordination and multi-site operations
  • Additional trade certifications or cross-training in related building systems
  • Experience with emergency response protocols and on-call service delivery

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and repair pipes, fittings, gas systems, and plumbing fixtures including sinks, water heaters, disposal units, and dishwashers in accordance with NJ plumbing codes
  • Conduct scheduled backflow inspections and perform necessary repairs and replacements to maintain system compliance
  • Complete work orders, inspection reports, and third-party documentation using computer systems and maintain detailed records
  • Perform sprinkler system inspections and identify, document, and repair deficiencies discovered during routine maintenance
  • Collaborate with vendors, site personnel, and clients to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedule to provide emergency response coverage as needed
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients regarding plumbing system maintenance and optimization
