About The Position
Hammond Services is a family owned and operated business that has been serving the South Metro Atlanta area for over 40 years. We are growing and looking for plumbers to join our team. Our Plumbers are given predictable and consistent hours to promote work/life balance! The job entails manual work at the journeyman level in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems. Work involves performance of skilled plumbing tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment. Routine maintenance, service, and repair work are performed independently. Compensation: Our top Plumbers can make up to 100k a year, depending on qualifications
Requirements
- 3+ years residential plumbing service and installation experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong finger and manual dexterity for handling pipes and plumbing fixtures
- Detail-oriented, organized and proficient of reading blueprints
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes
- Willing to work in all types of weather
- Considerable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the plumbing trade
- Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must be at least 22 years old to meet insurance requirements
