About The Position

The Plumber/Pipefitter will install, service, maintain, and repair required air, water, steam, oil, and gas lines, as well as boilers and compressors in the plant. The role also involves operating and maintaining waste water treatment facilities, using plumbers and steam-fitters hand tools and power thread machines. Additionally, the position requires servicing and maintaining all ground water remediation and sprinkler systems related to the plant, as well as servicing and rebuilding pumps.

Requirements

• Must pass relevant plumber/pipefitter's test.
• Completion of a Pipefitter Apprenticeship; or Associates Degree, Certificate Program or Trade School Program and 2 years Plumber and/or Pipefitter experience; or 5 years of Plumber and/or Pipefitter experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.
• Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner.
• Perform assigned work to specified quality and production standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition.
• Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual's immediate work area in a clean condition.
• Prepare and/or maintain all documentation.
