Onboarding Process: Please be advised that candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening which includes a drug screen. Job Summary: Under general direction, inspects, installs, repairs, and replaces pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas, and drainage systems of the hospital. Installs new plumbing system components, faucets, sinks, toilets, valves, etc. Assists Director in planning for expansion/renovation projects and forecasting operating budget and capital needs. Performs other related tasks to the maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection and installation of plumbing/piping systems and components, maintenance of inventory parts and supplies. May provide assistance to other maintenance personnel in performing repair and service functions. At management’s discretion, performs other related duties consistent with minimum level of preparation and training required and department demands/needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five years of progressive experience with a plumbing or construction company or experience in a commercial or hospital service environment.
  • Master plumber license
  • Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
