To work as part of a team of skilled journeymen to deliver efficient, concentrated work efforts one campus at a time. Projects are assigned using a team model to be completed in accordance with established safety guidelines and timelines. This position will install, repair and maintain plumbing systems throughout the district and perform routine building maintenance tasks (i.e. painting, carpentry, masonry, electrical, HVAC, etc.) Alternative work schedule (9/80's) Monday - Thursday 9-hour shift & Friday 8-hour shift, with every other Friday off over the course of two weeks. Prior to employment or during the first 3 months of new hire probationary period, drug and alcohol testing shall be required of all new contract employees who work for Maintenance in a safety sensitive position. Any applicants having a confirmed positive test shall not be eligible for employment. In compliance with federal law, employees required to have a Commercial Driver's License shall also be tested upon application, post-accident and at random.
