Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical certificate.
  • Preferably three (3) to five (5) years’ experience with commercial/industrial plumbing or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must possess excellent hand/eye coordination as well as close vision.
  • Must be able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, and diagrams and drawings.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Excellent soldering and brazing skills are needed.
  • Experience with Toro pipe and PVC pipe is also needed.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust, repair, troubleshoot and maintain all facilities plumbing, lawn sprinkler systems and applications.
  • Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintain applicable log books.
  • Conduct walk-through inspections of domestic water systems including water booster pumps, gauges, boilers temperature readings, and pumps, irrigation systems and testing.
  • Repair plumbing systems throughout the property and on offsite facilities.
  • Repair showers, sinks, toilets, water booster pumps and recirculation pumps.
  • Record gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
