About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide operations and maintenance support through the performance of plumbing duties.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience.
• Shall hold a Journeymen Plumbing License as required by the Government contractand state.
• Certified/licensed in pipefitting, steamfitting or sprinkler systems.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
• Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupationalhazardsand standard safety practices.
• Must hold and maintain a Tier 3 (Secret Clearance) or Tier 5 background check (Top Secret / SCI Clearance), as required for the position.
• Must be able tomaintainthe ability to access thegovernment worksite.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

• Backflow Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to the immediate supervisor for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment.
• Determines methods to accomplish plumbing related assignments.
• Performs all plumbingtrades’functions necessary to install,maintain, and repair the fixtures, equipment, and systems described in the contract.
• Installs and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes, studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required, and sequence of installations.
• Inspects structure to as certain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe and locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors.
• Consistently produces quality products andservice.
• Completesall training within the required timeline.
• Ensure work areas are cleaned and restored after maintenance tasks are completed.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
