About The Position

Position Overview: Liquid Environmental Solutions is a leading provider of environmentally responsible services for the removal of non-hazardous liquid waste. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Plumber III (Master Plumber). The Plumber I (Apprentice Plumber) assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the plumbing industry. Compensation: starting at $26/hr -- We're always seeking to talk to Journeyman and Master plumbers -- each has their own respective pay tiers! Location: Hueytown, AL

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (required).
Apprentice plumbing card (or greater)
Driver's license and 1-year minimum driving experience
Clean driving record (MVR review prior to hire)
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of the local jurisdictional plumbing code (required).

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools (a plus).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
Knowledge of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) (a plus).
Knowledge of the International Plumbing Code (IPC) (a plus).

Responsibilities

Assist in installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
Measure, cut, and assemble plumbing system components using hand and power tools.
Help diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety procedures and local plumbing codes.
Clean and prepare job sites before and after work.
Support licensed plumbers with inspections and testing of systems.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
Operate company vehicle -- following company safety policies.
