About The Position

The Plumber is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all plumbing systems as assigned. This position requires maintaining all plumbing systems in good working condition and performing necessary services such as repairing water leaks, replacing pipes, equipment, or fixtures, and making minor installations as directed by the supervisor. The plumber must also maintain heating equipment in compliance with all Federal-State Commission and Insurance requirements and perform irrigation duties as assigned. All duties must be performed in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Journeyman's license required; may be substituted for irrigation license and or 5 years plumbing experience.
• Master license preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plumbing systems in good working condition.
• Perform services needed for plumbing such as repairing water leaks, repairing or replacing pipes, equipment, or fixtures.
• Make minor installations as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain heating equipment in compliance with all Federal-State Commission and Insurance requirements.
• Perform irrigation duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
