About The Position

The PLT Product Industrialization Tech will be responsible for coordinating activities of SOSs, checking tires, and SOPs, ensuring that the tires are built on time. The role involves performing section analysis, scrap tire reports, and communicating and delivering check tires, SOS, and SOP results to tire owners. The individual will maintain a close and positive working relationship with other areas and plant staff to achieve goals and objectives. Responsibilities include attending shift OTOS meetings, supporting production on technical issues, certifying and coordinating tire start-ups, measuring and documenting components, and performing quality audits and analysis. The position requires completing documentation and reporting via email and various computer applications, ensuring compliance with ESH procedures and policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of SOSs, check tires, and SOPs.
• Perform section analysis and scrap tire reports.
• Communicate and deliver check tires, SOS, and SOP results to tire owners.
• Maintain a close working relationship with other areas and plant staff.
• Attend shift OTOS meetings and support production on technical issues.
• Certify, coordinate, and sign off on tire start-ups.
• Measure and document components and tire building machine settings.
• Cut and buff tire sections and perform cursory analysis.
• Evaluate results and make decisions on tire sign-off criteria.
• Coordinate QA's sign off and perform complete section analysis.
• Discuss results with responsible PI Tire Engineer.
• Perform miscellaneous data gathering, problem solving, and quality audits.
• Support production and assist with non-8 tire start-ups.
