About The Position

The Palletizer must know all OEM tire marking requirements and properly affix 2D sticker; High Point Sticker; Paint Dauber; crayon marking; spray adhesive, conicity tags, article number and Palletizer I.D. The Palletizer will remove PLT Tires up to 45#'s from waist high conveyor and stacked from floor to shoulder high on a pallet at 200 tires per hour rate. The Palletizer will occasionally use fork lifts when necessary. Must be certified to operate a Fork Lift through the Safety Department. Responsible for the proper care and safe operation of this material handling equipment. The Palletizer will follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production, and keeping work areas neat, clean, aligned and orderly. The Palletizer will follow all plant policies, environmental policies, and plant and departmental safety policies. The Palletizer must be able to communicate with other palletizers, warehouse truckers, PLT Final Finish Supervision and Department Manager. Perform other duties as directed by the PLT Final Finish Supervisor or Department Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED recommended.
• 0-1 year of manufacturing experience needed.
• Must complete In-House Competency Test if no High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Occasionally use fork lifts and be certified to operate them.
• Follow standard practices to ensure quality and quantity production.
• Maintain neat, clean, aligned, and orderly work areas.
• Adhere to all plant and departmental safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with other palletizers and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.
