About The Position
The PLM System Configuration Specialist I at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is responsible for performing CAE, CAM, and PLM applications work with a focus on electrical engineering design and manufacturing. This role requires collaboration with applications end users and other PLM/IT roles for software troubleshooting and enhancements. The specialist will work with engineering groups and across multiple departments to research, develop, and deploy technical advances in IT with business processes. Key responsibilities include configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading CAD and PLM applications and processes, ensuring PLM system integrity, and managing product configuration data throughout the product lifecycle. The position also involves defining technical contents and guiding the development of training for CAD and PLM applications, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of processes for PLM tools and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
