About The Position

As a Windchill Solution Architect, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade PLM solutions using PTC Windchill. You will serve as the technical authority for Windchill integrations, upgrades, and customizations, ensuring alignment with business goals and engineering workflows.

Requirements

  • 10–12 years in PLM domain, with deep Windchill expertise.
  • Experience with PLM Platforms: Windchill PDMLink, Windchill+, ThingWorx Navigate.
  • Proficiency in CAD Tools: Creo.
  • Integration & APIs: REST, SOAP, Info*Engine, ESI.
  • Development Tools: Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins.
  • Programming Languages: Java, XML, SQL.
  • Certifications: PTC Windchill Professional Curriculum, Lean Yellow Belt.
  • Education: Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Define scalable Windchill architectures for modules like PDMLink, MPMLink, SUMA, and ThingWorx Navigate.
  • Lead solutioning for Windchill+ upgrades, SSO validation, and cloud migrations.
  • Architect and implement integrations with ERP systems using REST APIs and Info*Engine.
  • Customize Windchill workflows, loaders, and utilities for ECN/FCN processes and BOM management.
  • Drive Agile initiatives, backlog refinement, and sprint planning with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to define epics, features, and acceptance criteria.
  • Oversee release management, coding standards, and documentation for PLM environments.
  • Lead change management efficiency projects, including automation and visualization gap closure.
  • Interface with business analysts, offshore teams, and vendors to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Conduct technical interviews and provide feedback on Windchill developer candidates, assessing skills in customization, configuration, and ThingWorx.
