About The Position

Engineering Industries eXcellence is a dynamic and growing organization, and we are seeking a PLM Project Manager (100% remote/WFH) to complement our growing team. As a Project Manager, you will manage one services project or several unrelated services projects driving customers value realization. The projects managed are of medium to high size and complexity and could be part of a program. Incumbent will execute the project(s) within the defined targeted outcomes, such as financial, schedule, scope and quality, while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role acts as a key point of contact for Sales, Pre-sales, Engagement Managers, Services Management and the customer for the project.

Requirements

  • Driving implementation and commissioning of IT solutions for manufacturing (preferred: Teamcenter PLM solutions).
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication capabilities, able to explain technical concepts and issues to non-technical audience.
  • Planning/Scheduling of project activities, assignment and tracking - Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Capabilities of handling project budget related to resource cost/rates, utilization, calculating burn-down rates, cost and revenue forecast.
  • Knowledge/familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, Kanban or similar iterative approaches.
  • Experienced in the elements of business standards, compliance & ethics relevant to own role.
  • Good understanding of critical parts of the value chain and main issues of major customers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to obtain and meet Business goals and results.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as on a team.
  • Proficient with Standard MS Office applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute (PMI), International Project Management Association (IPMA) or equivalent international body on a level suitable for this role (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the various stages and lifecycles of PLM Teamcenter Implementations for external customers.
  • Review the contract and derive actions concerning risks, opportunities, and contractual obligations.
  • Ownership of the customer contract/scope of work.
  • Ultimately responsible for project success from a financial and delivery standpoint.
  • Proactively monitor the project's overall progress, resolving issues and initiate corrective and preventive action as appropriate.
  • Manage customer requirements and project scope to achieve project objectives.
  • Establish project communication plan and provide communication to project stakeholders on all levels including escalation procedures and project progress reporting.
  • Perform project risk management including planning, identification, analysis, response planning and controlling.
  • Manage and resolve issues with all necessary internal and external partners.
  • Maintain a project issue log, report intelligently on project issues based on status and support from the project team.
  • Enforce project change management process, including documentation of project changes and deviations from project scope.
  • Manage the schedule to ensure on time delivery, including site acceptance, commissioning activities and go-live support.
  • Perform project quality management and manage compliance to standards, rules and regulations.
  • Follow the procurement processes, as required.
  • Manage contract acceptance and final project handover.
  • Perform project reviews and retrospectives regularly and feed the results and lessons learned into project and organization.
  • Work with Sales Account Manager to understand the value identification and planning processes.
  • Align the project schedule with solution releases and value realization plan.
  • Identify and create additional opportunities out of the ongoing project and feed those to the Program- and/or Sales Account Manager.
  • Drive the project team and customer to implement a solution that allows the customer to realize the value.
  • Collaborate with the customer to ensure agreed KPIs are tracked and met.
  • Undertake any other duties required by the company.
