About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Lead to drive the transformation of our product lifecycle management (PLM) tools. This role will be pivotal in consolidating PLM tools across five separate regions/teams into one common platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering leadership, project management, and PLM systems, with a proven track record of successful large-scale transformations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Evidence of at least one large-scale transformation project
Deep understanding of PLM tools and methodologies through 5 years of experience in PLKM related activities.

Experience with global transformations across multiple regions.
Knowledge of industry-specific PLM solutions

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic plan for the PLM transformation initiative. Align the transformation goals with the overall business objectives and regional requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with regional teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure alignment and buy-in. Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts between different regions and teams.
Project Management: Oversee the entire transformation project, ensuring it stays on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards. Define project milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Technical Oversight: Ensure the selected PLM platform meets the technical requirements of all regions while enabling product platforming. Oversee the integration of existing systems with the new platform. Manage data migration and ensure data integrity throughout the transformation.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to address emerging issues.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, progress, and outcomes. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
