Employees in this job function are responsible for translating desired business capabilities into o solution concepts and models and their requirements (functional and technical) o Design strategies, technology patterns and service structures. Accountable for architecture and information management guidance and governance processes. Responsible for enterprise capability integration by describing and evaluating the opportunities for integration and alignment of information and process flows, selecting appropriate implementation strategies, and defining technology mechanisms required. Compiles, develops and aligns architectural models of current and proposed capabilities and solutions across the enterprise to support strategy and investment decisions, portfolio management, program and project management, solution and service design and development and service management. Drives information integration, information standards, and information management through capability and value analysis and assessment. Delivers architecture artefacts (business, information, data, process, solution, application, service, technology, infrastructure architectures) to solution, service and technology delivery initiatives, programs and projects. Sets architecture and design direction (technologies, patterns, design principles, development frameworks) in cooperation with project management and system design/development.
