About The Position

The Technician (PLC) reports to the Technical Services Manager - Belen and is responsible for troubleshooting, upgrade existing equipment along with design and implementation. Hands on installation of production equipment and hardware design.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required with bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience with direct PLC programming required
  • PLC Programming experience required.
  • HMI development with RSview32, FT view & C-more panels.
  • Hardware design experience with PCL/VFD wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix & Micrologix.
  • Experience with Koyo PLC programming.
  • Industrial network protocols knowledge with Ethernet I/P, DeviseNET, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP.
  • Motion control Knowledge with servo, stepper, DC, AC drives.
  • Serial communication knowledge with RS232 / 485.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and upgrade existing equipment to new equipment design & Implementation.
  • Perform hands-on installation support for new or modified production equipment.
  • Implement machine control knowledge and understand classical control theory.
  • Responsible to operate Fluke Meters, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Elaborate electrical schematic drawings using AutoCad and Autocad electrical
  • SCADA developing knowledge: Ignition, Python and Labview
