About The Position

The PLC Programmer will be responsible for programming and integrating PLC control systems within an industrial control panel shop. This role involves working with various automation technologies and protocols to ensure the successful development and testing of control systems for a well-established equipment manufacturer.

Requirements

• Experience in Codesys or other PLC based IEC 61131-3 development environments.
• Experience in industrial network protocols such as ModbusTCP, CANOpen.
• Database experience, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MYSQL.
• Willingness to write disciplined, organized, and well-documented code.
• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting control systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Understanding of electrical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Program PLC control systems using a CODESYS based IDE.
• Create HMI projects using Vijeo Designer.
• Integrate PLCs, HMI, VFDs, Remote IO, and other devices via various fieldbus methods such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, CANOpen, Modbus RTU, HART, and IO-Link.
• Test manufactured control systems in-house prior to shipping.
• Proactively involve in projects and OEM product development.
