Currently, Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time, PLC HMI Electrical Controls Engineer to work in our Project site in Tampa, Florida. The PLC HMI Electrical Controls Engineer will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee. The ideal candidate will be able to commission, install, and operate water/wastewater treatment systems, such as thermal-based brine concentrators and crystallizers, ultrafiltration (UF) demineralization (DM), reverse osmosis (RO), Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), and high-efficiency reverse osmosis (HERO). This candidate will also have experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs. Job Description: Will interface with the customer. Maintain construction supervision, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing of water & wastewater treatment equipment, evaporators, crystallizers, and thermal desalination systems supplied by Aquatech. Experience in calibration of instrumentation, PLC logic review and troubleshooting, and operating interface setup and troubleshooting. Supervise the operation and maintenance of operating plants. Commissioning of rotating equipment such as pumps, centrifugal pumps, and blowers. Troubleshoot water treatment systems (pumps, motors, blower, valves & piping). Interpreting lab results. This job involves extensive traveling, both domestic and international. Field Service Engineers are ambassadors of the company in servicing our clients and customers. For this reason, good communication skills are necessary. The ideal candidate should be able to deal with various multinational clients.
