Can you read schematics and blueprints, lay out conduit and panels, and wire systems to spec? Are hydraulics and pneumatics part of your troubleshooting toolkit? When you'll work 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM What you'll do Create minor electrical circuits and validate performance; diagnose electrical, PLC, and electronic control issues on production equipment. Find and fix problems in hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. Install, commission, and optimize electrical/electronic controls using schematics and blueprints. Apply knowledge of plant electrical power and water distribution systems. Handle basic mechanical repairs to support uptime. Perform duties of lower classifications and provide direction to them when assigned. Disassemble electrical machinery and replace worn or defective parts such as brushes and armatures. Inspect newly installed equipment for hazards, adjustments, and replacement needs. Work from blueprints, sketches, or verbal guidance to complete assignments. Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and fine-tune fixtures, apparatus, wiring, and new services (panels, breakers, conduit). Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures; complete circuits per diagrams. Use appropriate tools and test instruments to repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment. Support varied tasks as directed by the Group Leader.

Requirements

  • Two-year Associate degree and 2–4 years of related experience.
  • Computer skills to find parts and document work in a CMMS.
  • Stand for extended periods; sit, stoop, bend; manual dexterity required.
  • Pre-employment physical including baseline ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
