About The Position

Requirements

• High School graduate (Associate's degree or certification in electrical engineering technology or similar preferred)
• Min 3 years of experience as an electrician or similar role in a manufacturing or plant related position
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• Understanding of safety regulations and practices related to electrical systems
• Min 2 years of experience in industrial control systems, PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and industrial control components such as PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, sensors, and switches.
• Perform preventive maintenance routines to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Calibrate instrumentation and verify system operation following repairs or modifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment status.
• Participate in training programs to stay current with technological advancements in industrial controls.
