Key Job Elements Participate in advanced manufacturing automation projects to expand automated capabilities across production operations. Develop equipment solutions, including installation and programming of robots, to increase throughput and improve efficiency of existing high-volume production lines. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to design automated equipment supporting new product launches. Troubleshoot and repair existing manufacturing automation systems to maintain uninterrupted production schedules. Apply strong PLC programming, motion control, and automation knowledge to support both new and existing processes.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a medium-volume manufacturing environment.
  • High degree of Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience.
  • Minimum 2 years motion-control experience, including FANUC or comparable robotic systems.
  • Working understanding of mechanical automation components, including pneumatic cylinders, solenoid valves, and proximity sensors.
  • Basic understanding of vision systems and visual inspection tools.
  • General knowledge of electrical control panel layout and associated components.
