Relocation assistance provided for a successful candidate. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Maintain and enforce safety programs to ensure a safe environment for all employees. Supervise facility systems utilizing various computer software programs. Take ownership and give new insights to electrical control systems including PLC data collection and display. Solve multiple manufacturers electrical components and input/output devices. Provide electrical planning assistance in multiple capital projects. Assist maintenance team in troubleshooting equipment issues. Requirements

  • 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment with automation control systems.
  • Relevant years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment with automation control systems commensurate with the level of this position.
  • Strong PLC knowledge with understanding of multiple manufacturing systems
  • Ability to connect equipment input/output data into facility computer monitoring system.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70 electrical codes
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent education years of experience with solid, validated history of electrical controls capabilities
  • Ability to develop PLC and HMI software programs.
  • Knowledge and experience in statistical process control methodology
  • Knowledge and practical experience with lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to optimally train electricians and operators pertaining to control systems.
  • Foundry equipment experience a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Wonderware(AVEVA) and/or Movicon is beneficial.
  • Designing control systems for monitoring production and manufacturing processes.
