About The Position

We are seeking a responsible and energetic Part-Time Playroom Attendant to provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents or guardians are utilizing our facilities. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with children, ensuring their safety, and engaging them in age-appropriate activities.

Requirements

• Minimum age:15 years old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in a fast-paced environment.
• Shifts must be able to work: Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday mornings 8:30-1pm Wednesday nights 4-8pm Weekend availability for birthday parties or kid's nights.
• Indoor playroom environment.
• Interaction with children, parents, and other staff on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with children in a professional or volunteer setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children in the playroom at all times.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Organize and facilitate games, crafts, and play activities appropriate for various age groups (typically ages 6 months to 10 years).
• Maintain accurate sign-in/sign-out records and verify parent/guardian identity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents/guardians about their child’s experience or any issues.
• Clean toys, surfaces, and play equipment regularly according to safety protocols.
• Enforce facility rules and policies consistently and fairly.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Support the general operation of the facility, including light administrative or maintenance tasks as needed.
