About The Position

Lead and oversee all aspects of playground installation projects from start to finish. Supervise, train, and direct crew members to ensure quality workmanship and efficiency. Maintain excellent customer service, serving as the primary on-site contact while promoting a positive company image. Coordinate and prepare job sites for installation, including layout, excavation, concrete work, and site organization. Ensure proper loading, unloading, and accountability of tools, materials, and equipment. Operate and oversee the safe operation of hand and power tools, skid steers, air hammers, forklifts, and other equipment. Safely operate company vehicles and ensure crew compliance with vehicle and equipment policies. Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining productivity and morale. Coordinate crew support for fence and traffic control projects when playground work is unavailable. Enforce and uphold all DFC Company safety and environmental policies; conduct job site safety meetings and ensure compliance at all times. Communicate project progress, material needs, and any job site concerns with management in a timely manner. Physical Requirements: Required to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds Occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Safety is #1 at DFC: Our expectation is that every employee: 1) strictly follows safety policies, rules, and safe work methods. 2) Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions. 3) Promptly reports injuries for diagnosis and treatment. 4) Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement in safety.
