About The Position
The Playground Instructor oversees and is responsible for a group of participants ages 7-15 at an assigned site for the Allentown Summer Program. This role involves supervising, facilitating, and engaging with participants through a variety of recreational activities including athletic activities, arts and crafts, and specific Romper Day program requirements such as teaching dances, games, and drills. The instructor works under the supervision of the assigned lead instructor, direct playground supervisor, summer playground director, and the Recreation Program Specialist.
