About The Position

The primary responsibility of a Players Club Representative is to provide exceptional customer service to new and existing Players Club members by informing customers of member benefits, current and future promotions, and answering any questions they may have while ensuring compliance standards are met.

Requirements

  • Must possess a least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be fluent in English in both verbal and written forms, including effective communication in spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
  • Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain a UMUGC Support license.
  • At least 1 year previous customer service experience required.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone.
  • Must have basic computer skills with the ability to operate most standard office equipment including a calculator/10-key, phone, fax, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and mentor team to provide exemplary Customer Service, first and foremost.
  • Lead by example with a “can do,” positive, “service with a smile” attitude.
  • Encourage teamwork and contribute to good team morale, making sure the customer is happy is #1 priority!
  • Provide information to casino customers by answering questions regarding the Players Club or the Casino Hotel: assists with signing customers up for Club, provides players club points information, assists with issues with Players Club card; provides restaurant food specials/hotel information, manages and runs weekly Slot Tournaments, promotions, and drawings, regularly announces monthly promotions on overhead PA system, provides info on upcoming attractions, shuttle information and area attractions, etc. as needed.
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording and updating account information; maintain customer point system by processing and redeeming accumulated points.
  • Prepare reports and leave shift notes; collects, analyzes and summarizes customer information; prepares all audit-related paperwork on a daily basis as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with company policies and procedures to all internal and external guests.
  • Promote teamwork in the department by assisting others with tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
